My personal fav of all homemade plant milks is by far the cashew drink: it is super fast and super easy to make and it even tastes like real milk in your coffee.
The good news is, that you do not have to filter out the nuts after blending! The recipe really involves very few steps and kitchenware – only the soaking of the cashews takes a bit of time.
Here’s the recipe:
What You Need
- cup
- 1 cup of cashew nuts
- 4 cups of water
- small bowl
- blender
- empty bottle (in case you do not use the milk immediately)
Preparation


Fill both the nuts and the water into the blender.
Mix at maximum speed for two minutes.
Use the milk directly or fill into the bottle; store in the fridge.
Drink within a couple of days (the milk will turn thick when it is not drinkable anymore).
Shake well before using.
